Shaler Area students completed the main installation of their Positive Painting Project at the high school this month just in time for Mental Health Awareness Month.  

The entire Shaler Area community came together to support multiple successful events and initiatives to raise funds and collect supplies to benefit Ukraine.  

Shaler Area School Board of Directors approved the 2022-23 school year proposed final budget during a Special Voting Meeting on May 11. The $96,066,348 proposed budget continues the district’s commitment to supporting students’ academic achievement and well-being and improving the safety and security of the district’s facilities with no millage increase.  

On May 11, 2022, Shaler Area emailed all district families with information about how to care for their student's iPad over the summer.   

Shaler Area is excited to announce it will be hosting an event called, “It’s a Beautiful Day in Titan Town,” in honor of 143 Day in PA.  

Shaler Area’s award-winning 50th anniversary celebrations will conclude with an End of the Year Celebration on Sunday, June 5.  

Shaler Area School District's annual Kennywood School Picnic will be on Tuesday, June 14. Tickets are available for sale online. There will be no ticket sales at the schools.

The Shaler Area High School Class of 1972 invites all  classmates from Etna, Millvale, Reserve and Shaler to their 50th high school reunion. Events will take place the weekend of September 24-25, 2022.  

The Shaler Area High School Class of 1975 will hold a 65th Birthday Reunion Saturday, June 4th at the Teutonia Mannerchor of Pittsburgh from 6pm to 11pm.
