Shaler Area School District Induction Criteria

Athlete -
Link to Athlete Nomination FormA Shaler Area School District graduate who has been graduated for at least a period of five years, and achieved recognition at a national, state, or district level, or has won a championship at the national, state, or district level, or has been a dominate athlete during his/her period of competition.
Any team that has been graduated for at least a period of five years and achieved recognition at a national, state, or district level, or has won a championship at the national, state, or district level, or has been a dominate team during its period of competition will also be eligible for induction into the Shaler Area School District Hall of Fame.

Coach/Administrator/Teacher/Community Contributor/Supporter -
Link to Nomination FormA former Coach/Administrator/Teacher who contributed immeasurably to the Shaler Area School District athletic program. The Coach/ Administrator/Teacher must have served in his/her capacity for a period of at least five years. The nominee does not have to be a Shaler Area School District graduate. An individual who contributed immeasurably to the Shaler Area School District athletic program. The nominee does not have to be a Shaler Area School District graduate.

Link to Team Nomination FormAny team from Etna, Millvale, or Shaler High Schools that has achieved recognition at a national, state, or district level, or has won a championship at the national, state, or district level, or has been a dominate team during its period of competition will also be eligible for induction into the Shaler Area School District Hall of Fame.
Old-Timer's Selection Criteria
Any athlete who has attended Etna, Millvale, or Shaler High Schools and achieved recognition at a national, state, or district level, or has won a championship at the national, state, or district level, or has been a dominate athlete during his/her period of competition.
Any team from Etna, Millvale, or Shaler High Schools that has achieved recognition at a national, state, or district level, or has won a championship at the national, state, or district level, or has been a dominate team during its period of competition will also be eligible for induction into the Shaler Area School District Hall of Fame.
A former Coach/Administrator/Teacher who contributed immeasurably to the athletic program at Etna, Millvale, or Shaler High Schools. The Coach/Administrator/Teacher must have served in his/her capacity for a period of at least five years. The nominee does not have to be an Etna, Millvale, or Shaler High School graduate
The Hall of Fame Committee will review all nomination forms to ensure that all nominees meet the selection criteria. This committee is comprised of teachers, administrators, coaches, and members of the community.
