Welcome new and returning parents to Shaler Area High School!
URGENT REQUEST
The SAHS PTO Board is actively seeking parents/guardians who are interested in a board position (President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary) for the 2024-25 school year.
All current board members will be vacating their positions at the end of the 2023-24 school year, and our goal is to have a new board in place well in advance.

What We Do:
- Hold quarterly meetings with the Principal, Activities Director, and various other speakers
- Recognize the academic achievements at the Senior Recognition Awards dinner and the Underclass Academic Awards program
- Award scholarships to graduating seniors (students' families must be members of the SAHS Parent-Teacher Organization)
- Raise money for Class Funds through monthly donut sales and other various fundraisers (Click here for the 2022-2023 Class Funds Report and the history of Class Funds: Class Funds History & Update 23-24.pdf)
- Support the after-prom with a donation
How You Can Help:
- Join the SAHS PTO!
- Attend the quarterly meetings
- Support other school activities and class funds through various fundraisers
Even if you cannot attend quarterly meetings, membership fees help our organization continue efforts to support and recognize the academic achievements of our high school students.
